Digital night vision device is also called digital night vision device, its English name is Digital Night Vision. The working principle of digital night vision device: darker light --> CCD (CMOS) photoreceptor --> CPU (processed by software) --> built-in display screen --> visible image. Instead of using photomultiplier tubes, digital night vision goggles digitize an image of the available light, reproduce it in software, and push it back to the level of digital night vision in the visible image.

As mentioned above about the image sensor of the digital night vision device, the CCD photosensitive sensor, as the core component of the digital night vision device, is the "heart" of the digital night vision device, and its level directly determines the level of the digital night vision device. At present, the level of CCD sensor of digital night vision device is divided into A1, A2 and A3, which correspond to the first generation digital night vision device, the second generation digital night vision device and the third generation digital night vision device.

 
The higher the level of the digital night vision device, the higher the recognition of the observation target, the better the viewing effect, and the longer the distance accordingly. Therefore, for the viewing distance of the digital night vision device, the 3rd generations of digital night vision devices will be much farther than the 1st and 2nd generation digital night vision devices. Compared with the 1st and 2nd generation digital night vision devices, the difference between the new 3rd generation digital night vision devices is that it is easier to "capture" the image target, the image seen will be brighter when compared in the same dark environment.
